What it is
Focal K2 Power 12-inch sub with the signature K2 cone.
The Focal SUB 30 KXE is a 12-inch (30 cm) component subwoofer from the Elite K2 Power line, built in Focal's workshops in France. Its K2 sandwich cone combines aramid fiber, foam and glass fiber for a rigid, light and well-damped diaphragm, with a TMD surround to control resonances. It handles 800 watts RMS (1,600 watts max) with dual 4-ohm voice coils, 86.5 dB sensitivity and 25 Hz to 500 Hz response. A ferrite double voice coil motor, non-magnetic aluminum frame, coil ventilation and push terminals round out the design. Suited to sound quality systems that want deep, precise bass matched to K2 Power speakers.
