Install notes for the 2012–2013 BMW 3 Series

  • Dash kit and wiring: Metra 95-9306B (double DIN, coupe, convertible, wagon, without factory navigation); 99-9306B (single DIN, coupe, convertible, wagon, without factory navigation); non-amplified systems: Metra lists AXTC-BM1.
  • Some trims have factory Harman Kardon premium sound, which can wire differently; we check your trim before you buy.
  • Not confirmed yet: center dash. These say "Confirm at the shop" until our sources agree; we check them with your trim.
  • Confirmed for some trims only: front doors and rear side panels. The other trims say "Confirm at the shop".
  • Fit changes by trim (Sedan; Coupe; Convertible; Wagon), so pick your trim in Shop by vehicle.
