AMS pods are lower-fairing speaker pods built here for Street Glides, Road Glides and Road Kings. The installation pulls the lowers, fits the pods, runs the wiring inside the fairing to an amplifier mounted where it stays dry, and tunes everything with the engine running so the music clears the pipes at speed.

El Monte to the Carson shop is about 26.6 miles, roughly 53 to 64 minutes (approx) off peak. Book ahead so the pods and amplifier are pulled for your bike, then ride in and wait at the shop or leave the bike for the day. We open at 9:30 Monday through Saturday, close at 6:00 and are closed Sunday.
Plenty of El Monte drivers wait inside; there is seating, a TV with Netflix, free Wi-Fi and a restroom, and if you want to stretch your legs a mall, coffee shops and restaurants are a short walk away. We are LGBTQ-friendly and everyone is welcome; it is how the shop runs. Coming from El Monte, take whichever is moving: the shop is right off the 110 and easy from the 405 and the 710.

Yes, when it is booked in advance. AMS pods plus an amplifier on a Street Glide or Road Glide is a one-day job; ride in at 9:30 and the bike is normally ready by late afternoon, tuned and tested at revs. Larger builds with fairing speaker replacement may run longer and we will say so when you book.
Fairing speakers point up and forward, and at speed the wind carries the sound away. AMS pods sit in the lower fairings at knee level, aimed at the rider, so the music stays full where you actually hear it. With an amplifier the fairing speakers and pods work together.
Yes. The speakers are marine-rated, the connections are weatherproofed and the amplifier is mounted where water does not collect. A bagger audio installation here is built for a bike that gets ridden year-round, not just on dry days.
