The Viper 2103V is a 1-way keyless entry system for remote locking and unlocking. It includes two 4-button remotes with up to 1/4-mile range, depending on conditions, plus panic/car locator, flashing parking lights, ignition-controlled door locks, an impact sensor and two auxiliary outputs. It can be upgraded with the Viper VSM550 SmartStart Pro module for phone control. A simple way to add remote locks to an older vehicle or one that lost its factory fobs.

To have video of what happens while you are away, pick a dash cam with parking mode, like the Thinkware U1000 or Q1000, hard-wired by the shop.
