Because the install is the whole point. Anyone can order a head unit online; getting it wired without cutting the factory harness, keeping the camera and steering controls, and tuning the amp so it does not clip is the part worth 15.6 miles. Bringing it to a shop that does this daily beats redoing a cheap install.
Yes. We keep the factory screen and add an amplifier that takes the factory signal, then do speaker replacement and subwoofer installation behind it. Nothing in the dash changes, the climate and camera functions stay, and the system gets the volume and bass the factory left out.
The amplifier itself, the wiring kit and the labor are quoted per car, because battery location, trunk layout and whether a factory amp has to be bypassed all change the job. Text the year, make and model and we will give you a number before you drive down from Los Angeles.
Yes. Door and rear speaker replacement with proper adapter brackets and harness plugs is a common job on its own. It cleans up the sound and adds clarity without touching the radio. Add a small amplifier later if you want more volume.
Not when the box is secured and the panels are treated. We mount the enclosure so it cannot slide, add sound deadening where the trunk lid or plate buzzes, and set the crossover so the sub plays only the low notes. A rattling trunk is an install problem, not a subwoofer problem.
