What it is
Excelon single-DIN CD receiver with Bluetooth and 5V preamps for adding amps.
The Kenwood Excelon KDC-X304 is a single-DIN CD receiver with built-in Bluetooth 4.2 for hands-free calls and streaming, dual-phone connection and the Kenwood Remote app. It plays CDs plus MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV and FLAC files from the front USB port, which charges at 1.5A, and it has a front aux input. The Excelon features include 5V preamp outputs, a 13-band graphic EQ, digital time alignment and Drive EQ, with 22W x 4 full bandwidth (50W x 4 max) built in. A good fit for a single-DIN dash where the owner still plays discs.
