What it is

High-power CompVX 15 with dual 2-ohm coils.

The Kicker CompVX 50CVX152 is a 15-inch subwoofer with dual 2-ohm voice coils, rated for 1,000 watts RMS and 2,000 watts peak with 91.6 dB sensitivity and an 18-500 Hz response. It uses a thick polypropylene cone with SoloKon reinforcement, a ribbed Santoprene surround and a cast-aluminum basket. Mounting depth is 8-1/2 inches with a 13-13/16-inch cutout. Kicker recommends sealed boxes from 1.8 to 5.2 cubic feet or vented boxes from 3.0 to 5.0 cubic feet.
