Can a subwoofer installation be done cleanly in a small car?
Yes. A Dual Kicker Comp box at $249 box only as of October 2026 fits most trunks and hatches, and the amplifier mounts flat behind it or under a seat. Power is fused at the battery and the box is strapped, so nothing shifts when you brake hard.
Do I need an amplifier installation to make new speakers sound right?
Not at first. Speaker replacement on factory power is already a clear improvement, especially in vocals and midrange. An amplifier installation later gives those same speakers headroom and real volume without distortion. Many Studio City owners do it in two steps and that works fine.
Will the new head unit keep my factory backup camera and steering controls?
Yes. The camera comes through a retention harness and the buttons through a control interface, both matched to your year, make and model before the dash is opened. We test the camera, the controls, Bluetooth calling and the mic before you drive back over the hill.
Can I get window tinting done on the same trip?
