Azusa is about 36.5 miles from Carson, roughly seventy-three to eighty-eight minutes outside rush hour (approx). Hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM; closed Sunday. Call or text to book, then wait while the film goes on or drop the car and come back. Most Azusa drivers leave the car in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon. If you would rather wait inside than make two trips from Azusa, the shop has seating, a TV with Netflix, free Wi-Fi, a restroom and a water fountain. Why would an Azusa driver go all the way to Carson for window tint?
Because tint is a labor job, not a product. Film cut by hand on your glass and applied by a crew that does it every day stays down and stays clear; film applied poorly bubbles and has to be stripped. The drive is about 36.5 miles and the car is done in a day.
Solar versus Solar Ceramic: which film should an Azusa driver pick?
Solar film handles glare and privacy for less money. Solar Ceramic does both and also rejects a large share of infrared heat, so the cabin is cooler after sitting in the sun and the air conditioning works less. For a car parked outside, ceramic pays off.
How long before I can roll the windows down after tinting?
Keep the windows up for a few days while the film cures and the moisture under it evaporates. Small haze or water spots during that time are normal and clear on their own. We go over the care steps with you before you drive home.
Can remote start installation be done the same day as the tint?
Yes. Compustar remote start installation runs in the same bay while the film is applied, so an Azusa driver can book both and collect one finished car. Give us the year, make and model when scheduling so the bypass module and film are on hand.
Do you tint trucks and SUVs with large rear glass?
Yes. Large rear windows are shrunk and fitted as one piece, and SUV quarter glass is cut on a glass board like everything else. Trucks with sliding rear windows are handled with the slider in mind so the film does not catch. Bring the vehicle and we quote it on the spot.
