Ceramic film on the sides and the big rear glass; the factory roof glass is already dark and stays as it is. We shrink the rear piece to the curve as one sheet, hand-cut on a glass board. Nothing metallic, so the phone key, cameras and radio are untouched.

Reserve a time first by calling or texting, then leave the Tesla with us or wait inside while the film goes on. Tesla rear glass takes extra time, so plan on the longer end of the day.
For a longer job from Bell, some people walk to the mall, the movie theaters or a coffee shop nearby; the DoubleTree down the street has a full bar, and Cabrillo Beach is about 12 minutes away. Everyone is welcome here, and the shop is LGBTQ-friendly. Three freeways lead here: we are right off the 110, and the 405 and 710 drop you close by, whichever way Bell traffic sends you.

Drive the 11.3 miles. Tesla tint is a specialty job because of the one-piece rear window, and we do it as a single sheet of ceramic film in a clean bay. A seam down the back glass or a bubble near the camera is what you get from a rushed job, and it is not fixable without redoing it.
No. The film stays off the camera housings and the windshield sensor area, and ceramic film has no metal to interfere with signals. Autopilot, Sentry Mode, the phone key and cellular data all behave the same after tint. The cabin just runs cooler and the glass looks cleaner.
Solar film is a dyed film that darkens the glass and cuts glare, $249 installed as of October 2026. Solar Ceramic uses ceramic particles to block infrared heat at the same shade, $329 installed. On a Tesla with a glass roof, ceramic is the one that makes the car noticeably cooler.
Yes. A Viper 3108V alarm adds a loud siren and a shock sensor to back up the factory system, and it is $269 installed as of October 2026. It is also a popular add-on for gas cars parked overnight on the street. We wire it to the vehicle, not to a plug-in harness.
Keep the windows up for three to five days so the film can cure to the glass. You may see a slight haze or small water pockets during that time, and they clear on their own. Washing the outside is fine right away; clean the inside glass gently after the first week.
