The Dual Kicker Comp loaded box is $249, box only, as of October 2026. The amplifier, wiring kit and installation are quoted at the shop on your car, because trunk layout and battery location change the work. Text your year, make and model and we will give you a real number before you drive over.
Usually the amp is going into protect because the gain is set too high, the ground is poor, or the power wire is too thin. Bring it to Carson and we will check the wiring, reset the gains and fix the ground so it holds at volume. Amplifier installation done right does not cut out.
Yes. A line-output converter or a sound processor takes the signal from the factory head unit and feeds a new amplifier and subwoofer. Your dash looks stock and everything on the screen keeps working. This is the most common car audio upgrade we do for newer cars from Huntington Park.
