Is it worth driving from La Puente for car window tint?
Yes. Film cut on your glass in a clean bay goes on without dust, fits the gasket and does not bubble or turn purple. Solar is 249 dollars and Solar Ceramic is 329 dollars installed as of October 2026. A tint job done once properly beats a cheap one you pay to scrape off.
How do Solar and Solar Ceramic tint compare once you are on the road?
Both block UV and cut glare. Solar Ceramic rejects far more infrared heat at the same shade, so the cabin stays cooler in a parking lot. If the car sits outside all day, ceramic is worth the extra 80 dollars; if it lives in a garage, Solar is plenty.
How long does window tinting take on a four-door car?
A few hours in the bay. Most La Puente customers either wait at the shop or drop the car and come back the same afternoon. Keep the windows up for a few days afterward so the film cures and the edges seal.
Can I get car stereo installation done the same day as tint?
Often, yes. A head unit installation or speaker replacement can run alongside the tint. A full system with a subwoofer and amplifier is usually its own day. Say what you want when you book and Nick will plan the visit.
Does the price change for a truck or SUV?
The posted prices are for four doors and the rear glass on a standard car. Trucks with extra glass, SUVs with quarter windows and anything with odd window counts are quoted at the shop. Text the year, make and model and we will tell you before you drive.
