The shop is about 11.2 miles from Los Alamitos, which is roughly twenty-two to twenty-seven minutes outside rush hour (approx). Appointments run Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM; Sunday we are closed. Call or text to reserve a time, then wait in the shop or drop the car and pick it up when we text you. A stereo installed through the right harness works for the life of the car, which is why the trip is worth making.
If you would rather wait inside than make two trips from Los Alamitos, the shop has seating, a TV with Netflix, free Wi-Fi, a restroom and a water fountain. Everyone is welcome; we are an LGBTQ-friendly shop. Three freeways lead here: we are right off the 110, and the 405 and 710 drop you close by, whichever way Los Alamitos traffic sends you.

Is Carson too far from Los Alamitos for a car stereo installation?
No. The shop is about 11.2 miles away, and most head unit installs are finished in a few hours, so you can wait or drop the car in the morning and have it back by afternoon. A stereo wired correctly the first time saves a second trip anywhere, which makes the distance a small cost.
What does speaker replacement change in a factory system?
Factory speakers are usually paper cones on thin magnets. Replacing them with proper coaxial or component speakers on adapter rings gives clearer vocals and tighter bass on the same head unit. If you want more volume without distortion, amplifier installation is the next step after the speakers.
Can you do subwoofer installation in a small hatchback?
Yes. A shallow-mount subwoofer in a compact enclosure or a Dual Kicker Comp box fits most hatchbacks while leaving room for groceries. The amplifier mounts under a seat or against the enclosure. We size the setup to your cargo space, not the other way around.
Will Apple CarPlay and Android Auto installation keep my backup camera working?
In most vehicles, yes. The new head unit has a camera input and we use a retention harness or interface module so the factory camera still displays when you shift into reverse. Send us the year, make and model and we confirm it before you drive over.
Do Los Alamitos drivers get window tint and alarm work on the same visit?
Yes, we book combined appointments all the time. Window tint goes on while the Viper alarm installation is being wired, and the car is usually ready the same day. Tell us everything you want done when you schedule so the parts and film are on hand.
