Tesla rear glass is one large curved piece. We shrink ceramic film to fit it in a single sheet, tint the four doors to match, and leave the cameras and sensors untouched. The work is in the hand-cutting and the shrink, which is why owners bring it to a shop that does Teslas every week.
Solar Ceramic blocks far more heat than dyed film at the same shade, hand-cut on a glass board and laid edge to edge. Solar film is the budget option and still looks sharp.
Front or front-and-rear dash cams, hardwired to the fuse box so they record while parked, with the cable hidden in the headliner and pillar trim instead of draped across the dash.
A head unit installation, a sub and an amp, with power wire fused at the battery and gains set on the car, turns a tired factory system into something you want to hear on the drive home.

Questions
Yes. A Tesla cabin is mostly glass, and ceramic film on the side and rear windows cuts the heat without a dark, mirrored look; the roof is factory dark. The trip from San Pedro to the Carson shop is about 6.5 miles, so you spend more time charging than driving. Most owners are in and out the same day.
We can. The Model 3 and Model Y back glass is tinted as a single sheet, heat-shrunk to the curve on the outside and then applied inside. No split line, no seam, and the third brake light and camera stay clear. It takes longer than a normal rear window, which is why we schedule it.
No. The camera housings on the pillars and the windshield area are left uncovered, and we do not tint the windshield. Side and rear cameras see through tint without trouble. We have done enough Teslas to know exactly where the cutouts go, so the car works the same way it did when you arrived.
Solar is a quality dyed film that darkens the glass and cuts glare. Solar Ceramic uses a ceramic layer that rejects much more infrared heat at the same shade, so the cabin stays cooler. As of October 2026 Solar is $249 and Solar Ceramic is $329 installed, four doors and the rear glass.
Yes. Dash cam wiring goes in first, routed along the headliner and A-pillar to the fuse box, and the tint follows. Book both and we set aside the bay. If you would rather not wait, drop the car at 9:30 AM and we will call when it is ready.
