What it is

Sony 8.95-inch floating screen with CarPlay and Android Auto on a single-DIN chassis.

The Sony XAV-AX8100 is a media receiver with an 8.95-inch touchscreen that floats in front of the dash on a single-DIN chassis, so it can go into cars with either a single-DIN or double-DIN opening. It supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Bluetooth covers hands-free calls and streaming. The screen mount adjusts to suit the dash, and a rear camera input is included. Like any floating screen, fit depends on the shape of the dash and where the vents and controls sit, so the shop checks the car before quoting. Text us with your year, make and model.
