What it is

CompR 8-inch sub with dual 4-ohm voice coils.

The Kicker CompR 48CWR84 is an 8-inch subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils, rated for 300 watts RMS and 600 watts peak with 82.1 dB sensitivity. The dual coils make it easy to wire one or more subs to a load that suits the amplifier. Mounting depth is 4-1/8 inches with a 7-inch cutout. Kicker recommends sealed boxes from 0.4 to 1.0 cubic feet or vented boxes from 0.8 to 1.2 cubic feet. A solid middle step in Kicker's subwoofer lineup.
