What it is

Shallow CompRT 8-inch sub with dual 4-ohm coils.

The Kicker CompRT 48CWRT84 is a shallow-mount 8-inch subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils. It handles 300 watts RMS and 600 watts peak, with 81.8 dB sensitivity, and needs only 2-11/16 inches of mounting depth with a 7-inch cutout. Kicker recommends sealed boxes from 0.2 to 1.0 cubic feet or vented boxes from 0.8 to 1.2 cubic feet. It is made for tight spots such as under seats, behind truck benches and in door or kick-panel builds.
