Model 3, Y, S and X. The large curved rear window is heat-shrunk and laid as a single piece of ceramic film, hand-cut on a glass board, so there is no seam in the mirror. The film is metal-free and leaves the cameras, sensors and key card alone. The glass roof is already dark from the factory and is left alone.

Yes. The rear glass on a Tesla is the job that separates a good tint from a bad one, and here it is shrunk and laid as one piece in a controlled bay. Tustin owners get ceramic film that cuts heat, protects the interior and does not interfere with the car's cameras or signals.
A few hours. Drop it at 9:30 and it is normally finished by early afternoon, or wait in the shop. Tesla window tint pricing is quoted at the shop by model, because the glass area on a Model 3, Y, S and X is different.
No. The ceramic film is non-metallic, so cell, GPS, key card and camera functions work exactly as before. Tint on the side glass and rear window has no effect on charging. What changes is the cabin heat, which drops noticeably with Solar Ceramic.
Yes. On a standard car, Solar is $249 installed and Solar Ceramic is $329 installed as of October 2026, for the side glass and rear window. Hand-cut on a glass board, edges to the gasket, no light gaps. Oversized SUVs are quoted at the shop.
Yes. A Viper 3108V alarm is $269 installed as of October 2026, with the module hidden and the wiring wrapped into the factory loom, and a dash camera installation is hardwired for parking mode on the same day. Add GPS tracker installation if you want the car on a map.
