The 1995–1997 Ram 1500 takes a double-DIN or single-DIN aftermarket stereo with the right dash kit (Metra 95-6555B) and wiring harness. Factory speaker sizes: 5.25" rear side panels. Audio MotorSports in Carson stocks stereos and speakers that fit and installs them in its own bay, often the same day.

- Dash kit and wiring: Double-DIN: Metra 95-6555B (shallow-mount / L-chassis double-DIN radios only; trim panel and sub-dash cutting). Single-DIN: Metra 99-6500.
- Some trims have factory Infinity premium sound, which can wire differently; we check your trim before you buy.
