Yes. A GPS tracker installation can be done alongside the alarm or remote start, on its own constant power and hidden where a thief will not look. It reports location to your phone and is quoted at the shop with the rest of the system.
Will an aftermarket alarm set off false alarms all night?
Not if the shock sensor is adjusted properly, which is part of the install. We set the sensitivity on the car so a passing truck does not trigger it but a hit on the glass does. If it ever needs adjusting later, bring it back.
