Why should a Calabasas Tesla owner drive to Carson for tint?
Because a Tesla's back window is one tall curve of glass that shows every seam and speck, and shrinking an unbroken sheet of ceramic to it takes a crew that does Teslas regularly. Done once in an enclosed bay, it stays clean for the life of the car instead of being stripped and redone.
Does ceramic tint interfere with the phone key or Supercharging?
No. Ceramic film carries no metal, so Bluetooth from your phone key, cellular, GPS and the cameras all pass through as before. Supercharging is unaffected because the film is on the glass, not near the charge port. That is exactly why we put ceramic, not metallic film, on every Tesla.
How dark can I go on a Tesla registered in Calabasas?
California requires the front side windows to pass at least 70 percent of visible light, with any shade allowed on the rear doors and back glass. We fit a light ceramic up front that still cuts heat and glare and run darker behind it. You see the shades on your own car before any film is cut.
Can I add a dash camera installation to the Tesla tint visit?
