Car Window Tint for Malibu Drivers

Front side windows must let at least 70 percent of light through. Behind the driver there is no limit, so the rear doors and back glass can be as dark as you want. We hold the film samples against your glass in the bay so you pick the shade by eye instead of from a chart.

Yes, and that is the main reason to spend the extra on Solar Ceramic. The ceramic layer rejects infrared heat, so the cabin and steering wheel are cooler after an afternoon parked outside and the air conditioning has less to fight. Solar film still cuts glare and adds privacy for less money.

Yes. Say so when you book and the bay is reserved for the whole day. The car stereo installation or CarPlay head unit goes in first and the window tint goes on last, so the fresh film is never leaned on while it cures, and you collect the car before closing.

Keep them up for about three days so the film bonds to the glass and the moisture under it evaporates. A little haze or a few small water pockets in the first days is normal and clears on its own. After that the film is washed like the rest of the car.
