What does basic subwoofer installation cost for a Compton driver?
The Dual Kicker Comp box is $249, box only, as of October 2026. Installation, the amplifier and the wiring kit are quoted at the shop because they depend on your vehicle and how much power you want. Bring the car by and Nick will price the whole package in one visit.
Will a new stereo keep my steering wheel controls and backup camera?
On most vehicles, yes, with the right interface module and harness. We check the year, make and model before you come in so the parts are ready. If a vehicle has a factory amplifier or a screen tied into climate controls, we tell you up front what will and will not carry over.
Do I need amplifier installation if I only do a speaker replacement?
Not always. Better door speakers on factory power sound cleaner and a little louder. If you want real volume without distortion, a small four-channel amplifier is the next step. We will tell you honestly which one your car needs after hearing what it does now.
Can I get my car tinted and the stereo done in the same trip from Compton?
Yes, that is a normal booking for us. Tint goes on while the stereo is wired, and the car is done the same day in most cases. Tell us both jobs when you schedule so we block enough bay time and have the film and harness on hand.
Do you install car alarms with GPS tracking?
Yes. A Viper alarm covers the doors, glass and ignition, and a GPS tracker adds location and movement alerts to your phone. Either can be installed alone. For a car that lives on the street, the alarm plus a tracker is the combination we suggest most often.
