Both films cut glare and block UV. Ceramic uses a different layer that rejects far more infrared heat, so the cabin stays noticeably cooler at the same shade. If your car bakes in a driveway or a lot all day, ceramic is the one that earns the extra 80 dollars.
Yes. At about 6.0 miles you are close, and most tint jobs on a four-door car finish within a few hours. You can wait in the shop, or drop the car and run errands. Either way, book a time first so the bay is open when you arrive.
Often, yes, if you tell us when you book. A head unit swap or speaker replacement can run alongside the tint work in the same visit. Bigger subwoofer and amplifier builds may need a separate day, and Nick will say which when he quotes it.
The film is hand-cut on your glass, the edges go to the gasket, and the install is done in a clean bay so there is no dust under the film. Cheap tint bubbles, purples and gets scraped off. Done properly once, it lasts the life of the car.
