Usually, yes. The camera feeds into the new head unit through a retention harness, and parking sensors that chime through the factory system are kept with the right interface. We check the year, make and model before you book so there are no surprises in the bay.
Does speaker replacement make a difference with CarPlay?
Yes, because streaming audio through CarPlay exposes weak factory speakers quickly. New door speakers on adapter rings give clearer sound on the same head unit, and amplifier installation adds clean volume. We can do speakers during the CarPlay appointment or on a later visit.
Can Mar Vista drivers get car window tint during the stereo appointment?
Yes. Window tint and head unit installation can run in the same appointment, so you drop the car once and pick up one finished vehicle. Solar or Solar Ceramic film goes on the doors and rear glass while the stereo is wired. Mention both when scheduling.
