The shop is 14.9 miles from Marina del Rey, roughly thirty to thirty-six minutes outside rush hour (approx). We open Monday through Saturday at 9:30 and close at 6:00; Sunday is off. Book by phone or text, then decide whether to leave the car and ride back to the marina or wait inside while the film goes on. We have had calls from as far away as San Jose for this work, so a half-hour drive down the 405 corridor is nothing unusual.
Waiting inside is easy for Marina del Rey customers: there is seating, Netflix on the TV, free Wi-Fi, a restroom and a water fountain, and a mall, movie theaters, restaurants and a Starbucks are within walking distance. Marina del Rey customers of every background are welcome, and the shop is LGBTQ-friendly. Three freeways lead here: we are right off the 110, and the 405 and 710 drop you close by, whichever way Marina del Rey traffic sends you.

Yes. Solar Ceramic film blocks a large share of infrared heat, so a cabin that has sat in marina sun since morning is noticeably cooler when you open the door. It is $329 installed as of October 2026 against $249 for Solar film, and for a car that lives outdoors near the water it is the better buy.
In our bay the glass is cleaned, the film is hand-cut on the window, heat-shrunk to the curve and squeegeed in a dust-free space. A driveway install in Marina del Rey wind and salt air picks up grit under the film. Done once, done right is cheaper than paying twice.

Yes. The Model 3 and Model Y rear glass is tinted as one sheet of ceramic film shrunk to the curve, with no horizontal seam. The film is also kept off the camera housings. It takes longer than a normal rear window, so Tesla jobs run toward the end of the day.
