Monrovia questions we hear
Is it worth the drive from Monrovia for Tesla window tint?
For a Tesla, yes. The rear glass is one large curved piece that shows dust and seams, and bad film has to be scraped off the defroster lines. The film is shaped on the Tesla's own glass in a closed bay and shrunk as a single sheet. Done once properly is why owners drive this far.
Does ceramic tint affect Supercharging, the phone key or cameras?
No. Ceramic film is non-metallic, so the phone key, key card, cellular and GPS all work as before. Film goes on the door glass and rear window only, never over the camera housings, so Autopilot and the cabin camera are not touched.
What shade can I legally run on a Tesla in California?
Front side windows must pass at least 70 percent of light; rear side windows and the back glass can be darker. We will put ceramic samples on real glass at the shop so you can see each shade before choosing.
How long does a Tesla tint take and do I need to leave the car?
A full Tesla is a few hours. You can wait at the shop or drop it and come back later the same day. Keep the windows up for a few days afterward so the film cures. Book ahead so the bay is reserved for the car.
Can you do car alarm installation on a Tesla or my other car the same day?
A Tesla already has its own security, so most owners bring the second car for the Viper 3108V at 269 dollars installed as of October 2026. It can be scheduled for the same day or a separate visit. Tell us when you book and we will plan the bay.
