What does a Compustar installation include for a push-button car?
The remote start module, a bypass module that satisfies the immobilizer, the brake and hood safety circuits, and a demonstration before you leave. Compustar 9910 installs start from $499 as of October 2026. The car still needs the fob inside to shift and drive, so the remote start cannot be used to steal it.
Can I get a GPS tracker installation and an alarm at the same time?
Yes, and they work well together. The alarm handles the deterrent and the starter interrupt, and the tracker tells you where the car is if someone tows it. Both are wired to constant power, hidden, and tested on your phone before you head back to Arcadia.
What is the turnaround on a Compustar remote start install?
Plan on most of a day for a push-button vehicle, less for a standard key. The bypass module programming is the part that takes time. Drop the car in the morning and it is usually ready in the afternoon; waiting at the shop is fine if you would rather not make two trips.
