Why drive from Rowland Heights to Carson for car stereo installation?

How much does subwoofer installation cost?
The Dual Kicker Comp box is $249 for the box only as of October 2026. The amplifier, wiring kit and install labor are quoted per vehicle, since trunk layout, battery location and the factory stereo change the work. Text the year, make and model and we will reply with a number.
Can you keep my factory head unit and just make it sound better?
Yes. Speaker replacement on its own makes a clear difference, and adding an amplifier that reads the factory signal gives you volume and a subwoofer without touching the dash. Your screen, camera and steering controls stay exactly as they are.
How long will the car be at the shop from Rowland Heights?
A head unit or speaker replacement is two to three hours, so you can wait. Amplifier installation with a subwoofer is most of a day, so dropping off in the morning is the usual plan. Call us to book and we will tell you which to expect for your job.
Will a subwoofer and amp dim my headlights?
Not when the wiring is sized right. We run power wire and a fuse matched to the amplifier, add a proper ground and, for bigger systems, upgrade the main charging wires. Headlights that flicker with the bass are a wiring problem, and the fix is in the install, not in turning it down.
