Is it worth riding from Sylmar for a bagger audio installation?
Yes. Pods can be bought anywhere; the wiring is why you ride. Connections heat-shrunk inside the fairing, an amp mounted out of the weather, gains set on the bike so it does not clip at speed. An install done once properly beats one that fails on the first wet ride.
What are AMS pods and what do they cost?
AMS pods are lower fairing speaker enclosures that Audio MotorSports builds and installs, from 649 dollars a pair as of October 2026. They bolt to the Harley lowers and put sound at your knees where wind does not strip it. Amplifier and labor are quoted on your model.
Can I hear the system at freeway speed with a helmet on?
Yes, when the system is built for it. More speaker area and amplifier power than the stock fairing setup, placed low and close to the rider, is what gets through wind and a helmet. Fairing speakers plus pods and a tuned amp do it.
How long does a Harley audio install take?
Pods alone are a few hours and you can wait. Pods plus fairing speaker replacement and an amplifier is usually a drop-off for the day. Nick will give you a time when you book so the ride from Sylmar is planned around it.
Do you tint cars as well, and does Sylmar pay the same price?
Yes. Solar window tint is 249 dollars and Solar Ceramic is 329 dollars installed as of October 2026 on four doors and the rear glass, same price no matter where you drive in from. Many riders bring the bike for pods and the truck for tint.
