Is it worth driving from Fountain Valley for window tinting?
Yes. Film that is cut on a glass board in an enclosed bay goes on clean, fits the gasket and does not bubble or purple. Solar is 249 dollars and Solar Ceramic is 329 dollars installed as of October 2026, and a job done once properly outlasts a cheap one that has to be scraped off.
Which should I pick, Solar or ceramic window tint?
Solar cuts glare and UV and looks clean at a lower price. Ceramic rejects far more heat at the same shade, so the cabin stays cooler in a parking lot. If the car sits outside all day in Fountain Valley, ceramic is usually worth the extra 80 dollars.
How long does car window tint take and when can I roll the windows down?
A four-door car is a few hours in the bay. Leave the windows up for a few days afterward so the film cures and the edges seal. You can wait at the shop during the install or drop the car and pick it up later the same day.
