The Kenwood CMOS-230LP1 is universal and mounts at the license plate. The CMOS-740HDLP gives a sharper 720p, 180-degree view but is made for select Kenwood receivers, so your radio decides.
Can these handle rain and car washes?
Both are built for the outside of the car: the CMOS-230LP1 is listed as waterproof and the CMOS-740HDLP is IP67 rated.
