4-Channel Amplifiers: questions
Can a 4-channel amp run speakers and a sub?
Yes: two channels for the front speakers and the other two bridged for a small sub. For more bass, a 5-channel amp or a separate mono amp usually does better.
How much power do my speakers need?
Match the amp's RMS per channel to the speaker's RMS rating. Around 75 W x 4 RMS, like suits many aftermarket speakers. Too little power is often more of a problem than too much.
